Debbie Rowe: Friendship Turned Family

Rowe met Jackson in the 1980s while working with his dermatologist. They married in November 1996 in Australia and had two children: Prince (born Feb. 13, 1997) and Paris (born April 3, 1998). The couple divorced in 2000; Jackson gained custody and Rowe stepped back from public life. She later said the children didn’t call her "Mom" by her choice. After Jackson’s 2009 death, his mother Katherine sought guardianship and was named guardian in his will; Paris later reestablished contact with Rowe as a teenager.

Legacy and the Biopic
