Remembering a kind comic

Burnett described Weinrib as funny but also "very sweet," noting his warmth offstage. Weinrib — known for H.R. Pufnstuf and other voices — died in 2006 at 71. Her comments came on an April 19 episode of the podcast Nostalgia Tonight, amid news that producer Sid Krofft passed peacefully on April 10 at 96.
